Weelborg Chevrolet of New Ulm supports local heroes

December 2024 - Weelborg Chevrolet is honored to partner with Brown County Sheriff's Office through the Chevy First Responder Appreciation program, a partnership program allowing Chevrolet to support the local heroes who serve and protect communities around the nation.

The partnership features a one-time monetary contribution to the Brown County Sherriff's Office, aiming to bolster their vital work and enhance their capabilities to respond to emergencies effectively. The program also provides an opportunity for community members to earn additional funds for the organization via a Test Drive Fundraiser.

"We believe in giving back to our local community and supporting those who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe. Our partnership with the Brown County Sherriff's Office is a testament to that commitment," said Ann Perry, CEO, for Weelborg Chevrolet of New Ulm.

The partnership is in conjunction with the General Motors First Responder Appreciation program, a special offer on the purchase or lease of select new Chevrolet vehicles for firefighters, police, EMTs/paramedics, 911 dispatchers, and healthcare professionals and their sponsored spouse.

Hockey Day

January 11th, 2025 - Hockey Day took place at the New Ulm Civic Center-a celebration bringing all our teams together under one roof. The day featured games for each team, spotlight matches for New Ulm High School, a silent auction, Eagles merchandise, concessions, a "Hockey Hair" contest, autograph sessions, and more!

As a proud sponsor, Weelborg Chevrolet of New Ulm supported this incredible event, which in the previous year welcomed over 3,000 attendees, making it one of the area's biggest charity events. Hockey Day helps keep hockey accessible for everyone by providing essential gear for players. Hockey is for everyone!

B The Light

Weelborg Chevrolet of New Ulm is proud to support Cancer Awareness Month. This past October, our dealership had Breast Cancer wristbands for sale, with donations going to B the Light, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving breast cancer patients and their families in the Southern Minnesota area. We're proud to have helped raise over $3,000 across the Weelborg Auto Group, helping to donate to such an important cause!!

Mingle with a Purpose: Heels & All 2025

February 27th, 2025 - This year is the 11th Annual Mingle with a Purpose event! For the past 10 years, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted an annual women's event, with the purpose of bringing together ladies from across the community, regardless of work status or background, and giving them a chance to connect and grow together. In the past, there have been up to 280 women gathering for this annual event, and we are planning to get bigger and better in 2025! Learn more about the event and register today!
