With a 7700 lb max towing capacity, this sturdy pickup offers the best towing ability in its class. The Colorado is powered solely by a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four and eight-speed automatic transmission. Its horsepower is based on the trim level. As such, it fluctuates between 237-hp, with the base engine going up to 310 horsepower with the ZR2. The new Chevy Colorado also boasts a sizeable infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. With energy, economy, and entertainment, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado has it all.
Motor, Transmission, and Performance
Chevy’s turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four engine powers each 2023 Colorado with numerous outputs based on trim level. Also, an eight-speed automatic functions as the transmission for every Colorado. The more capable Trail Boss and Z71 trims employ the 301 horsepower version, giving it additional power and torque. Moreover, it’s available as discretionary gear for the LT and WT models. The V-6 and Duramax Diesel in the last Colorado is no longer available.
Cargo, Comfort, and Interior
The new Chevy Colorado makes bounds regarding its interior. Each Colorado is a four-door crew cab. Inside, the shifter moves nearer to the cab’s passenger side, and the cupholders are found at the front of the center console. Furthermore, a new infotainment touchscreen, gauge cluster, and steering wheel complement the modernized design. The new 2023 trim also celebrates the first time Chevy has delivered a discretionary sunroof on the Colorado.
Infotainment and Connectedness
Each new Chevy Colorado has an enormous 11.3-inch touchscreen, the largest display in its class. The new Chevy Colorado also offers a wireless phone-charging ability but maintains a set of USB ports should you ever need them. Moreover, the Colorado can be fitted with Google Built-In to manage music, navigation, and other customized automotive operations via your Google account. And lastly, every Colorado offers wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto as standard equipment.
