The most significant change for this year’s Silverado 2500HD is the 6-function Multi-Flex tailgate that is available on all Silverado HD models. The Multi-Flex tailgate was made standard on GMC’s Sierra and added as an option to the Silverado 2500HD by popular demand.
Some of the features of this multi-function tailgate include a secondary cutout in the middle of the tailgate which can be folded up to house longer loads safely, as well as a weatherproof audio system and auxiliary input.
